How To Make Scotch Eggs
- 1 1⁄2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 12 hard-boiled eggs, well chilled
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 2 lbs sausage meat
- 4 eggs, beaten
- vegetable oil, frying
Assemble 12 portions of sausage.
Each egg should be rolled in flour and wrapped around the sausage.
Roll sausage-wrapped eggs in Panko breadcrumbs after dipping in beaten egg.
Cook each egg until it is cooked and browned, about 4-5 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Serve warm or cold with paper towels.
