Combine: 2 cups of buttermilk or sour milk and 4 well-beaten eggs With a hand mixer or an electric mixer running on high speed, combine the milk and eggs with the dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
Add 3/4 cup of melted margarine or salad oil and stir.
Bake in a waffle maker that has been warmed until crisp and golden. 2 cups of batter for a large maker, 1 cup for a tiny maker.
