How To Make Chicken Breast With Honey-balsamic Glaze


  • 1 1⁄2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4(4-ounce) boneless skinless chicken breast halves




Step 1

Mix the first 3 ingredients and sprinkle the mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken.

Step 2

In a large nonstick skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Place the chicken in the skillet and cook for 7 to 8 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is fully cooked.

Step 3

Once the chicken is done, transfer it to a platter and keep it warm.

Step 4

Reduce the heat of the skillet to medium-low and add the vinegar and honey. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 1 minute or until the glaze thickens, stirring constantly.

Step 5

Pour the glaze over the cooked chicken to serve.
