How To Make Sausage Balls
- 1 lb bulk sausage
- 1(10-ounce) package of sharp cheddar cheese (grated)
- 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
Let the cheese and sausage come to room temperature.
Combine them in a mixing bowl with Bisquick and blend until a smooth consistency is achieved. (For a helpful tip, try using a hand-held electric mixer for the best results).
Please note that the mixture will appear rather dry.
Prepare a cookie sheet by lining it with aluminum foil.
Ensure the sheet is well-coated with vegetable oil spray.
Fashion 1-inch balls by hand from the mixture and place them on the cookie sheet, maintaining a 1-inch distance between each ball.
Bake in a preheated 400-degree Fahrenheit oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until they turn a beautiful golden brown.
After baking, drain the balls on a paper towel.
