How To Make Peanut Butter Protein Bars
- 1 1⁄4 – 1 1⁄2 cups of whey protein powder
- 1 cup natural-style peanut butter or 1 cup low-fat peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1⁄2 cup skim milk
- 2 cups dry uncooked oatmeal
A pot should be filled with PB, honey, and milk.
Low heat is best for warming.
Be sure to mix the protein powder well after adding it.
Oats should be added last.
It doesn’t need to be cooked, just warmed through so you can stir it.
If the mixture is too thick, add more milk.
Make sure the pan is 9″ x 13″.
Cut the bars into 16 equal pieces after they have cooled.
Plastic bags should be used to store each bar once it has been wrapped in foil or Saran wrap.
Refrigeration is not necessary for them.
