How To Make Hummus Vegetable Sandwich

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 coarsely grated carrot
  • 1⁄2 cup store-bought hummus
  • 1⁄4 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
  • 2 tablespoons store-bought tapenade (olive spread)

 

DIRECTIONS

 

Step 1

Take one slice of whole wheat bread and spread half of the hummus and tapenade mixture on it (you can omit the tapenade if desired).

Step 2

Repeat the process with the second slice of bread, spreading the remaining hummus and tapenade mixture on it.

Step 3

Layer the thinly sliced 1/4 cucumber and the coarsely grated 1 carrot on top of the hummus and tapenade on one of the bread slices.

Step 4

Combine both slices to form a single sandwich.

Step 5

This recipe yields one delicious sandwich packed with the mentioned ingredients.
