How to use Signal on Windows and Mac devices

We all want to communicate privately even the likes of Elon Musk and Edward Snowden look to the encrypted messaging app. After all, the conversation should be limited to us and the person we’re sending the messages to. That’s why a private encrypted messaging app is a pretty great way to shake the feeling that we’re being surveilled, that’s where the signal comes in. The private messaging app lets users talk to coworkers, family, friends, and groups using end-to-end encryption. This app has long been regarded as a favorite by cybersecurity experts. Most recently the tech Mogul Elon Musk who bigged up a signal over Facebook messenger and somehow caused a completely non-related company called signal advanced to have a huge surge in shares. So let’s take a look at how you can use this software on Windows and Mac Devices.
Go to the official website is signal.org and swipe down, when you scroll down you can see the download section. You can see Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac, Linux. Download it on whatever device you want to use it. It will take you to the window download page. You can see Signal for Windows and the download button at the bottom. Click on it. This will download the Signal app for your OS. Once it gets downloaded, double click on it to install. You cannot use Signal on the web version, as you have for WhatsApp. For Signal you have to download the app. You can’t use it inside the browser. After installation it shows a QR Code, you have to scan this code through your signal app from your mobile. Go to the Signal app on your phone and click on the three dots and click on the settings. You can see the link devices section, click on it and scan the QR code. Now your Signal app is getting ready for your Operating System. Taking all the data from your phone through the Code that you have added. Choose this device’s name and click on finish. Now all the chats, groups, and data will be syncing. Once the syncing get’s completed you will see the Signal app. Now you can use it on your laptop along with your phone.
