This probably the easiest way you could get to it is to open up the search and then type in “snipping tool”.
There you see it right there. The other way you could get to it is by clicking on the start menu and this is the long way to get it open. Go into the start menu scroll to the very bottom down and then there’s a section called windows accessories. It will also show you all the other things that also come with windows. You get a fancy note-taking program called notepad. Very basic you also have a souped-up one called Wordpad and not quite at the level of the word and then here we also see the snipping tool. If you want easier access in the future you can pin that to the start meany which shows up above all the other apps. Click on more, to pin it to the taskbar.
Open up the snipping tool. Now there are a few different modes tht the snipping tool has. You could do a full-screen capture. With a full-screen capture that simply takes a screenshot of the entire desktop. There’s also a window snip and you could select a window that you want to take a screenshot of. There’s also a rectangular snip and freeform snip. With a rectangular snip, you can highlight an area of the page you want to take a screenshot of, and in the other mode the freeform, you can select an area that you want to take a screenshot in any shape. Save the file and save this as a different file type You can use it in png format. There you have a gif format too. Png is the default one.
