SBI Net Banking: The State Bank of India has added a new feature to the SBI YONO app that allows bank clients to view passbook details such as bank account balances, transactions, and more without having to log in to the SBI YONO app. Users of SBI online banking will be able to conduct bank transactions without having to log into the SBI YONO app.
In a tweet, the State Bank of India announced the addition of a new function to the YONO app, saying, “Without logging in to the app, you may now check your account balance, access your passbook, and make transactions. With YONO SBI, you can bank quickly!”
In addition, SBI included a YouTube video in the tweet that illustrates the significance of the new function in the YONO SBI App. It adds in the video, “Users can transact up to Rs 2,000 without logging into the SBI YONO app by clicking on the ‘YONO Quick Pay’ button. For this facility, authentication will be done using one of the MPIN / Biometric Authentication / Face ID / User ID and Password options.”
Here’s what’s changed in SBI’s YONO app since the new function was introduced:
1] On the SBI YONO app, there will now be a see balance and quick pay option alongside the login option; and
2] To utilize this service, you’ll need a 6-digit MPIN, biometric authentication/face ID, or a user ID and password.

Step-by-step instructions for checking balance and using m-passbook without logging into your YONO SBI account:
1] LOGIN WITH MPIN, ID and password, or biometrics;
2] To view account balance in the YONO SBI app without logging in, go to the ‘View Balance’ option.
3] Select MPIN, User ID and Password, Biometric Authentication, or Face ID as your authentication method.
4] Your SBI bank account will be validated by the YONO SBI app;
5] After that, go to the ‘View Transaction’ option and verify your account amount;
6] SBI customers can now adjust the limit of their transactions using the YONO App’s ‘OTP management feature.’
