Do you have your Aadhar Card yet? Is there a printing error on the card, or is the address listed incorrectly on the card, or would you like to replace the existing address with a new one?
Every citizen now needs to have an Aadhar Card. The UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) issues the Aadhar Card, which aids in the completion of various critical activities.
It is one of the accepted forms of identification and proof of residency for many reasons. If the address printed on the card is incorrect or you want to change it on purpose, you can use the online Aadhar tools to make the changes yourself.

Step 3: A new page will appear, prompting you to enter your “Aadhar Number/VID” in the supplied field. Fill in the figures as indicated in the image in the box. Click on the ‘Send OTP’ button.
Step 4: UIDAI will send you an SMS containing the OTP. For authentication, enter the OTP in the supplied box. To continue, click the ‘Login’ option.
Step 5: Click the Submit button after selecting the Address option.
Step 6: Now, in the appropriate areas, type in the new or corrected address and click ‘Submit Update Request.’ Confirm the same information and click the ‘continue’ button one more.

Step 8: A new page will appear on the screen, prompting you to confirm that you are uploading the correct document. To continue, click the ‘Yes’ button.
Step 9: The final step is to choose your BPO service provider. After you’ve made your choice, click the ‘Submit’ button.
The successful submission of the update request for updating the address will be displayed on the screen. On the screen, you’ll also see an ‘Update Request Number.’
Make a note of it for future use. You can also print it or save it to your computer. You can check the status of your Aadhar card by using the Update Request Number.
Within a few days, you will receive a new Aadhar Card with your revised address. Do not use your old Aadhar card for anything! Discard the old card and replace it with the new one for the purposes at hand.
