425°F oven temperature.
Butter a baking sheet pan sparingly. I employ the spray.
On each slice of bread, spread 1/2 teaspoon of mustard.
Two slices of bread with mustard on one side are layered with one slice of cheese, two slices of ham, two slices of turkey, and one more slice of cheese.
To prepare four sandwiches, repeat. In a small dish, combine the eggs, flour, butter, salt, and pepper and whisk to combine.
Add milk and blend.
Sandwiches should be dipped into the egg mixture on both sides until the bread is just damp.
Place on a baking sheet, and then top with any leftover egg mixture.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the bottom is golden.
Turn with a broad spatula and bake an additional 8 to 10 minutes, or until the second side is well-browned.
Sandwiches should be dipped in or spread with raspberry preserves and served warm, dusted with powdered sugar.
Add fresh raspberries as a garnish.
