How To Make Peanut Butter Protein Bars

Ingredients for Peanut Butter Protein Bars

  • 1 1⁄4 – 1 1⁄2 cups of whey protein powder
  • 1 cup natural-style peanut butter or 1 cup low-fat peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1⁄2 cup skim milk
  • 2 cups dry uncooked oatmeal

 

DIRECTIONS

 

Step 1

A pot should be filled with PB, honey, and milk.

Step 2

Low heat is best for warming.

Step 3

Be sure to mix the protein powder well after adding it.

Step 4

Oats should be added last.

Step 5

It doesn’t need to be cooked, just warmed through so you can stir it.

Step 6

If the mixture is too thick, add more milk.

Step 7

Make sure the pan is 9″ x 13″.

Step 8

Cut the bars into 16 equal pieces after they have cooled.

Step 9

Plastic bags should be used to store each bar once it has been wrapped in foil or Saran wrap.

Step 10

Refrigeration is not necessary for them.
