Because Aadhaar cards are so widely used, it is critical that we double-check that all of the information on our card is correct and up to date. However, if you’ve recently moved and need to know how to update your address on your Aadhaar card, this is the article for you.
How to Change the Address on Your Aadhaar Card Online
Visit the UIDAI government’s official website (https://uidai.gov.in/).
Log in to your account using your UID (Aadhaar number) and your registered cellphone number.
You’ll find an option to ‘Update Aadhaar Address Online’ on the main home page; picking it will take you to a new page.
You must scan and submit your identification and proof of address documents. After you’ve submitted your request, you’ll be given a URN that you may use to track its progress at any time.
Offline Update of Aadhaar Card Address
You can have your biometrics (name, address, date of birth, sexual orientation, portable, and email) and biometrics (fingerprints, iris, and photo) renewed if you go to an Aadhaar Permanent Enrolment Center.
You must deliver unique reports to the enrolling centre for the update. After the upgrade, unique archives will be evaluated and returned to you. For the latest information, go to any of the permanent enrollment habitats.
How to Change the Address on Your Aadhaar Card by Mail
You can change or update your Aadhar card either offline or in the mail. To do so, download the Aadhar correction form and fill it out in English or your native language. Once you’ve completed the application form, you’ll need to email it to the UIDAI along with a self-attested supporting document. The address and format are listed below. Make a note on the top of the envelope that it is for “Aadhaar Update/Correction.”
