Tekken 7, the most recent installment in the Tekken franchise, has over 50 characters from prior games.
Each character has their own look and playstyle, giving the player a variety of alternatives to suit their preferences and abilities.
Following the purchase of the game, 36 characters will be accessible for use in combat against one another. However, the remaining 16 must be obtained in a variety of ways.
Here’s how to gain each of Tekken 7’s unlockable characters.
DLC Characters
Eliza
Eliza was the first unlockable character in Tekken 7, and she was only available to those who pre-ordered the game. She became available for purchase 30 days after the game’s release. The Vampire Queen has a distinct playstyle and is capable of dealing significant damage. If you wish to test out this character, you’ll have to buy her from your platform’s respective DLC store.
Geese Howard
This guest character is from the Fatal Fury fighting game series, and Tekken 7 was his debut appearance in the Tekken franchise. This was one of the game’s earliest DLC characters, and it’s still available for purchase in the store.
Noctis Lucis Caelum
The main character from Final Fantasy XV, Noctis Lucis Caelum, is another guest fighter in Tekken 7. Noctis can be purchased separately from the store or as part of the Tekken 7 season pass with Geese.
Anna Williams
Anna Williams, one of the first characters introduced in the Tekken franchise, returns in Tekken 7 as a DLC character that must be acquired through the store.
Lei Wulong
Lei Wulong, one of Tekken 7’s most unusual characters, has a sequence of five different fighting stances that may be altered between the battle. Lei Wulong, who first appeared in Tekken 2, returns as part of the Tekken 7 DLC.
Craig Marduk
Craig Marduk, who first appeared in Tekken 4, returns in Tekken 7. The Vale Tudo-style fighter is available as DLC or as a standalone purchase as part of the second season pass.
Armor King
Armor King, Craig Marduk’s sworn enemy, was also included to the game as part of the second season pass. Armor King can be purchased separately as well.
Julia Chang
Julia Chang, a character who has appeared in every Tekken game since Tekken 3, returns in Tekken 7 and can be purchased as DLC from the store.
Negan
Negan, a character from the Walking Dead franchise, is a guest fighter in Tekken 7. He brings his charismatic villain demeanour to the fight. This special guest fighter is available as part of the second season pass or as a standalone item in the store.
Zafina
Zafina was the first character released as part of Tekken 7’s third season pass, after her debut in Tekken 6. She is available for purchase as a playable character in the store.
Leroy Smith
Leroy Smith, a new character in Tekken 7, is a mixed martial artist who can be obtained through the third season pass alongside Zafina. This unique character is also available for purchase separately.
Fahkumram
Fahkumram, a Muay Thai fighter, is another original character added in the third season pass. This character completes the battle pass, however he may also be purchased alone.
Kunimitsu
Kunimitsu, the latest incarnation of a character first debuted in the first Tekken game, is available as part of Tekken 7’s fourth season pass or separately through the store. One more character will be published as part of this season pass, although the identity of that figure has yet to be announced.
Ganryu
Ganryu, a recurring character in the Tekken franchise, is playable in Tekken 7 and may be purchased as part of the third battle pass or separately from the DLC.
Characters that are not in the main cast
Devil Kazuya
Devil Kazuya, one of the franchise’s most popular characters, is not available as a single character. This version of Kazuya Mishima can only be obtained by transforming while playing the character during a match.
You must employ Devil Kazuya’s Rage Art by hitting the front right bumper on your controller to start the transformation. However, the change is only temporary and is presently the only option to access the character in Tekken 7.
Violet
Violet, a previously established character in the franchise, is not accessible as a standalone character, but rather as an alternate look for Lee Chaolan. You must select Lee as player two in order to see this appearance. When picking Lee from the character menu, press square or circle to do so.
