How To Make Guacamole
GUACAMOLE INGREDIENTS
- 1 large tomatoes (Diced)
- 1 medium white onion (diced)
- 2 large limes, juice of
- 3⁄4 cup loosely packed fresh cilantro (chopped finely)
- 5 large Hass avocados
- finely chopped fresh jalapeno (optional)
- salt
DIRECTIONS
Step 1
Begin by slicing the avocados in half and carefully discarding the seed. Use a spoon to scoop the avocado flesh out of the shell and place it in a bowl.
Step 2
To prevent browning, immediately add the juice of one fresh lime to the avocado. Use a fork to mash the avocado to your desired consistency.
Step 3
Incorporate the chopped onions, tomato, and cilantro into the mashed avocado. Gently stir to mix all the ingredients.
Step 4
Squeeze the juice of the second lime over the mixture and then add salt to taste. Give it a gentle stir until the ingredients are well incorporated.
Step 5
If you prefer some heat, add jalapeño to taste.
Step 6
Your chunky, yet creamy guacamole is now ready! Serve it with your favorite tortilla chips for dipping, or use it as a delicious accompaniment to your favorite Mexican dish.
Side Note: For an ultra-creamy dip, some people prefer to use a food processor to combine all the ingredients.
