Employers will usually provide you with your UAN number; if they have not provided you with your UAN number, please contact them to obtain it.
EPFO also provides a service that allows you to find out your EPF number by entering any of the information below.
- Member ID
- Aadhaar
- PAN
as well as your name, date of birth, phone number, and email address (Mobile number & Email ID are just for sending information of your UAN)
How to find out what your UAN number is
Go to https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ for the first step.
Step 2: As stated below, click on the “Know Your UAN Status” option.
Step 3: Fill in the blanks as indicated below. (You have the option of using your PAN, Aadhaar, or Member ID.)
Step 4: To have the authorization pin sent to your mobile phone, click “Get Authorization Pin.”
Step 5: After clicking “Get Authorization Pin,” a pin will be sent to your phone number, and the screen for Step 6 will appear.
Step 6: Finally, input the OTP on the screen below.
Step 7: After you enter the OTP, you’ll see a notification that says “Your UAN and UAN Status have been sent to your registered cellphone number.”
Then UAN will be sent to your phone number.
