Valentine’s day: All the poets, poets, writers, and philosophers in the world to date have considered love as a matter of the heart only and only. But modern science has proved that love and relationships have their biochemistry, which is controlled by your mind. According to science, love is not so much a matter of the heart as it is of the mind.

Love is the force which it touches, it has burnt it. Tell us what is love, tell us who started it. Love is crazy, it is mastana, with every happiness one has to get rid of every sorrow. Such songs have been made in Bollywood films for a long time. It is said that love is such a thing that if it happens, there is no peace, otherwise it is restlessness, if it happens it is difficult to understand, otherwise it is difficult to live. Although there are many definitions of love, in precise words, ‘when only one person becomes his whole world for a person, then it is called love’.

To say ‘love’ is a very short word of two and a half letters, but equally incomprehensible and mysterious. Great poets, poets, and philosophers have said that love is that fire that is neither plant nor extinguished. No one knows when it will happen, to whom it will happen, where it will happen, and why it will happen. But, all these things became poetic. What does science say on this? Modern scientists believe that love is just the chemical elasticity of your brain. Love is also an action like any other action. On seeing someone, many chemical reactions happen in the brain simultaneously, due to which a person falls in love. The bottom line is that according to science, Ehsaas-e-Mohabbat is just a game of chemicals! Today biology has advanced so much that it can explain the whole equation of love and pairing. Let us try to understand what love is from the point of view of biochemistry. What is the source of love? And love comes from the heart or the mind?

To date, all the poets, poets, writers, and philosophers in the world have considered love as a matter of the heart only and only. But modern science has proved that love and relationships have their biochemistry, which is controlled by your mind. According to science, love is not so much a matter of the heart as it is of the mind. Good and bad feelings about someone arise from our mind itself. Poets and poets may associate the heartbeat with the name of love, but the ‘heartbreaking’ research of scientists suggests that the heart has nothing to do with love.

Researchers from Rutger University in New Jersey in the US and ‘Why Him? According to Helen Fischer, author of the book Why Her?: How to Find and Keep Lasting Love, there are broadly three stages of love: lust, attraction, and attachment. Different types of hormones control each stage of love. This means that even though these three emotions work in tandem, a person may experience only one of them. This means that our feelings of longing, attraction, and wanting can be different for different people.

Lust is a strong desire to have someone, this is what is called love at first sight i.e. love at first sight. Sex hormones ie testosterone and estrogen have a hand in the awakening of this craving. Although often these two hormones are commonly referred to as ‘male’ and ‘female’ hormones respectively, they are extremely important for stimulating both men and women. According to sexologist Dr. Prakash Kothari, ‘Estrogen helps increase the feminine qualities of a woman, while testosterone has an important role in stimulating her sex organs.’ However, lust is the thing that is usually responsible for the beginning of love. According to research by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, there is a part of the brain called the Farm Face Area (FFA), which gets activated when seeing beautiful and attractive faces.

After the intense yearning of lust, the stage of falling in love i.e. the phase of attraction begins. In this period, a person does not understand anything other than love. Sleep, peace, loss of peace, loss of appetite and thirst, staring at the lover, being lost in the memories, feeling inclined towards some work, etc. are the symptoms of this condition. In this state, the three neuro-communicator chemicals of the body become active and do their work promptly.

These three chemicals are dopamine, norepinephrine, and phenyl-ethyl-amine. At the time of falling in love or while looking at your lover, these chemicals get involved in the blood and its effect is visible in the whole body. Dopamine has the same effect on the brain as cocaine or nicotine. This chemical fills the intoxication of love in the brain. Dopamine is also called the happy chemical because it produces feelings of extreme pleasure.

Apart from this, dopamine also induces the release of the very important hormone oxytocin. This chemical is of great importance in women while giving birth and feeding children. Scientists believe that this chemical is released from our brains when lovers fill each other’s arms and kiss.

A chemical called norepinephrine produces excitement that makes your heart beat faster when you fall in love. Due to this chemical, when you suddenly meet a lover, you get sweaty, your heart starts beating fast and your mouth starts drying! Norepinephrine releases a chemical called adrenaline, which increases the blood pressure and heartbeat in the attraction of the lover.

The phenyl-ethyl-amine chemical makes you anxious to meet your lover. This is the chemical that creates excitement at the time of romance and when you fall in love, it takes you to seventh heaven. When your eyes meet someone, your brain releases phenyl-ethyl-amine. Your pupils start getting bigger and everything is visible even in low light.

The last stage of love is attachment. Attachment plays the biggest role in a long-lasting relationship. It also includes bonding and friendship with parents, siblings, and children. This is what encourages the partner to stick with them despite their flaws. Oxytocin and vasopressin are mainly involved in this bond of love. Scientists have observed in experiments conducted on rats found in the prairie plains of America that the hormones vasopressin and oxytocin are responsible for the unbreakable bond of love.

When we fall madly in love, we are playing in the hands of our biochemicals. Helen Fisher says that the attraction of love is the attraction. When the biochemistry of two people matches, then only they meet. We are just puppets in this game of love for nature. When someone falls madly in love or the ghost of love is on one’s head, then the truth is that he is dancing on the gestures of chemicals or say sex hormones. Scientists even say that falling madly in love is in a way similar to mental disease, that is, if it is called love disease on film lines, then nothing wrong is said!

Researchers from the Institute of Mind and Biology, University of Chicago, USA, have recently concluded from their studies that when a boy meets a beautiful girl, the amount of saliva in his mouth increases, and the amount of saliva in this saliva increases. The chemical composition also changes. Scientists adopt a very special method to measure the truth and depth of love. The person whose love is to be tested is asked to come near the brain scan machine. After this, he is shown a photo of the person whom he professes to love. When that person (male or female) is looking at his boyfriend or girlfriend, his brain is scanned at the same time. If that person loves the person in the photo, then four such corners are found in his brain which is filled with blood when he sees the photo. Two of these vertices are present in the highly developed part of the brain, the cerebral cortex, while the other two vertices are found in the basal ganglia, a less developed part of the brain. It has been seen in various researches that the greater the depth of love, the more the above four corners of the brain will be filled with blood.

Many scientific studies also show that long life is water, so love someone to the extent of madness. According to psychologists, love not only creates energy in you but also changes the biological clock, which you do not want initially, but later you end up wanting it very much, there is a chemical elasticity behind it too!
