Paneer Pizza is a desi version of this italian cuisine, Pizza. The people who love indian spices and carve for this italian dish too, must try it at least once. So, here I present the the recipe for this Indian cum Italian pizza.

The ingredients for Paneer Pizza (4 servings):-

  • BASE-
  • 3 cups wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • Salt as per requirement
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1.5 teaspoons of instant yeast or 2 teaspoons of dry active yeast


  • 1 tablespoon chopped basil, fresh or dry
  • 1 cup of tomato puree
  • Salt as per taste
  • 3-4 finely chopped garlic cloves
  • ½-1 teaspoon of fresh or dry oregano
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper


  • 125-150 grams of cubed paneer or cottage cheese
  • Salt as per taste
  • 4 tablespoons of yogurt
  • 1 cubed bell pepper, green or yellow or red
  • 1 quartered medium sized onion, layers should be separated
  • 1 cubed tomato
  • Ginger garlic paste, 3-4 small garlic cloves and ½ inch ginger
  • ½ teaspoon of red chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon of coriander powder
  • ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • ½ teaspoon of garam masala
  • ¼ teaspoon of ajwain
  • ½ teaspoon of chaat masala
  • ¼-½ teaspoon of lemon juice


  • Grated Mozzarella cheese
  • 7-8 sliced black olives

Method for The Paneer Pizza:-

  • BASE-
  • Take 1 cup of lukewarm water and dissolve sugar in it and then add yeast and then stir.
    Keep this mixture covered for 10-12 minutes.
  • When the solution becomes bubbly, add salt, oil and 1 cup of flour.
  • Stir the mixture well and then add another cup of flour. Continue stirring and flour mixture will start leaving the sides of flour. Then add last cup of flour and knead a soft and elastic dough with the hands.
    The dough must neither be too much dry nor too much sticky.
  • Keep the dough covered for about 2 hours.


  • For sauce, in a pan heat the oil and add the chopped garlic cloves and saute for 15 seconds and then add pureed tomatoes.S
  • aute for a couple of minutes and then, add basil, oregano, salt and pepper.
  • Simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes and then turn off the flame.


  • For paneer tikka, whisk the yogurt for making a smooth paste.
  • Add ajwain, ginger garlic paste, salt, lemon and the spices.
  • The, add the paneer cubes, chopped onions, bell pepper and tomatoes into yogurt for marination.
  • The vegetables and paneer cubes must be evenly coated with the marinade.
  • Keep aside for 1 hour.


  • After 2 hours, dough will be doubled in size. For medium pizza, make 2 parts of dough and for small pizzas, make 3 parts.
  • Preheat the oven at least before 20 minutes of baking at 250 degree celsius.
  • Now, grease a baking pan and spread some flour on it.
  • Now, roll the dough on a dusted flour and place the rolled dough the pan.
  • Brushing the oil on base, spread the tomato sauce and then, spread the marinated paneer and vegetables.
  • Then, spread the sliced black olives.
  • Now, grate the mozzarella cheese as topping and bake the pizza for 15-20 minutes till the cheese becomes a bit brown.
  • The base and paneer will be cooked and then take out the pizza.
  • And can use chilli flakes and seasoning for taste and serve with sauce.
