1. First of all, find a place where you can’t be disturbed. Distractions can cause irritation and break the process in between. Who can be the only peace provider other than nature? But it is not a compulsion that meditation can only be practised in a natural environment. One can meditate in any place with less disturbance.

2. Next ingredient of this amazing recipe is the time. The time can be chosen according to the convenience of the person where he/she is less likely to be disturbed. One cannot just start meditating in the office hours. According to some people, no time is better than sunset and sunrise as this time is the transition phase of nature. Meditating for an hour daily can really help.

3. One needs to be empty stomach for effective meditation. One must neither be full nor having an absolutely empty stomach. A full stomach might lead to dozing off while empty stomach does not allow one to do anything. It is always advised that meditation must be practiced after 1-2 hours of the meal.

4. Next ingredient is a relaxing posture. Good body posture really adds to the overall personality of the body. The back must be erect and eyes must be closed during the process. It is always suggested to sit in Padmasna while meditating.

5. Here comes the most important ingredient for a successful meditation practise. A little warm up before mediation is really helpful for removing the stress out of mind and lightens the body by improving the blood circulation in the body.
