How To Make Baked Honey Granola

INGREDIENTS FOR BAKED HONEY GRANOLA
- 1 pinch salt
- 1⁄2 cup craisins or 1/2 cup other dried fruit
- 1⁄3 cup slivered almonds
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup honey
- 1⁄4 cup light olive oil
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups rolled oats, uncooked
DIRECTIONS
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and almonds.
Step 3
Warm honey in a glass measuring cup in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
Step 4
Add olive oil to the warm honey and stir well.
Step 5
Drizzle the honey-oil mixture over the dry ingredients and thoroughly combine them.
Step 6
Spread the mixture on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with Pam.

Bake the granola until it turns golden and crunchy, stirring it once during the baking process. The baking time can vary from 15 to 25 minutes, depending on your oven and pan.

Once baked, pour the granola onto a sheet of wax paper or parchment paper to cool.

Stir in the dried fruit as an additional step.

Once the granola has cooled, store it in a sealed container.

If it clumps together, simply give it a toss to break up the clumps.
