How To Make Bacon And Hash Browns Casserole

INGREDIENTS
- 0.5 package (16 ounces) of frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1/2 cup of thinly sliced green onion
- 1/4 teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper
- 1 carton (8 ounces) of nonfat sour cream
- 1 cup of turkey gravy (or chicken gravy)
- 2 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 3/4 cup of extra-sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (divided)
- Cooking spray
DIRECTIONS
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the turkey gravy, 1/2 cup of cheese, sliced onions, black pepper, thawed hash brown potatoes, and sour cream.
Step 3
Spoon the mixture into a shallow 1-quart casserole dish that has been coated with cooking spray.
Step 4
Bake the casserole at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes.
Step 5
After 35 minutes, sprinkle 1/4 cup of cheese and the crumbled bacon on top of the casserole.
Step 6
Bake the casserole for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
